Think about the question for a moment as learning and completing course work in an online environment, away from the classroom reduces car emission and travel time to campus. You save on gas by reducing the number of trips to campus and when your vehicle is parked and not on the road for traveling to class; you minimize the secretion of car exhaustion, which is a powerful greenhouse gas.

Several Green tips to consider:

– Turn off equipment such as computers and unplug toasters and electric can openers at night.
– Encourage online tools for communication.
– Use recycled content paper.
– Buy local.
– Buy used and refurbished items.
